Lisa has 15+ years of experience in communications, marketing, investor relations, brand growth, media relations, corporate comms, public speaking, and operations coupled with 8+ years in the web3/blockchain space with direct experience as Head of Communications for a public blockchain company where she oversaw the growth and development of an international brand presence on the world stage. Personally, she was an early adopter of BTC/ETH 10 years ago. Lisa has experience working with government officials in Puerto Rico, Tokyo and the United States. She has travelled all over Europe, Asia, and South America and adapts to various cultures quickly and easily. She has worked with numerous web3/blockchain projects from the DeFi sector, HFT Funds, Layer 1, Layer 2 projects and is deeply familiar with the various nuances of the industry and its varying sectors from legislative needs to the SEC/CFTC, etc. She has spent time lobbying in DC for better regulations and contributed to past bills.
When producing a conference in Tokyo, she secured the first female cabinet member in Japanese history from Prime Minister Abe's cabinet (Mrs. Satsuki Katayama) to deliver the opening keynote address after visiting with her at the Japanese Parliament several times to secure her speech. She worked with The Chamber of Digital Commerce to produce a post conference round table discussion featuring the US Ambassador to Japan, William "Bill" Hagerty, now a TN State Senator and former SEC commissioner, Paul Atkins which was followed by a reception at the Ambassador's residence with more ministers from PM Abe's cabinet. This positioned the brand on the Asian world stage.
For the length of her career, she has had an innate ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts in written and oral communications. Lisa is excited to work with Investors at Epic Funds and bridge the gap of alternative web3 investing with the marketplace.
