Patrick Moynihan has 25 years of experience in investing, entrepreneurship, technology, business development and capital formation.
Mr. Moynihan began his career with Pitney Bowes and consistently qualified for their National Sales Leadership program. He later became a sales trader and a Financial Advisor, managing $60M in discretionary portfolios with Raymond James FS. After selling his book of business in the immediate aftermath of 9/11, he spent a decade as an entrepreneur, founding a collections technology company named Paylock Inc., which he grew from scratch to over 200 employees. Wall Street investor Ian Cumming (Leucadia/Jeffries) was his lead investor and business mentor.
Mr. Moynihan is an experienced investor and entrepreneur. He has reviewed hundreds of technology startups and investment deals, consulted for dozens of tech companies, and has been an active investor in traditional and alternative assets. He has raised capital for private and public companies from individual investors, investment funds, and philanthropists. He has managed teams across enterprise software development, technical hardware builds, and a variety of technical business initiatives. He has been involved in the digital asset markets since 2015 and has been an investor since inception in a few of the unique asset managers now offered through Epic Funds. He was an early investor in ZCash, Basis, Chia, Filecoin, Starkware and Ledger, among others. He has consulted for numerous projects and, on one occasion, raised over $2M for a particular project within 48 hours. Most recently, he established a digital wallet development company to bring security and convenience to the users of digital wallets.
Patrick has been a driving force in the alternative investing space for over a decade. He remains passionate in his conviction that the engines of future progress will likely emerge from among these enterprises and is dedicated to seeing that Epic Funds is in the vanguard of this movement.
